We Exist to Reach the Unreached
Community Outreach and Public Empowerment Foundation is a Nigerian youth-led NGO based in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State. Since 2019, we have worked at the grassroots level to improve the quality of life for marginalized communities through education, healthcare, and economic empowerment.
Our Story
From Grassroots to National Impact
What began as a grassroots initiative in Ebonyi State has evolved into a registered nonprofit organization working alongside communities, volunteers and partners to create lasting social impact.
The Beginning
A group of young people with like minds came together to reach underserved communities in Ebonyi State, driven by a shared passion for social justice and community development.
First Outreaches
Grassroots outreaches began in hard-to-reach areas across Ebonyi State, focusing on women, girls and youth facing economic hardship, limited education and social injustice.
Growing Impact
COPE Foundation expanded partnerships with YIAGA Africa, NYFF and LEAP Africa, launching programs in civic education, political participation and community project tracking.
Official Registration
Legally registered with the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission on February 7, 2025, marking a new phase of growth, accountability and expanded reach across Nigeria.
